Dogs Trust Shrewsbury Rehoming Appeal
Staff at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury are currently on the lookout for a loving home for a double doggy duo, who really are the best of friends and do everything together at the Rehoming Centre in the hope that they find a forever home together soon.
Agoraphobic Greyhound prepares for Battersea Old Windsor’s Easter Egg Hunt
A Greyhound that is petrified of the great outdoors is trying to be bold this Easter and challenge himself to Battersea Old Windsor’s Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 5 April.
Four year old Patch has been in Battersea’s care for over 200 days – almost seven times longer than the average stay for a dog – and with his racing days behind him, he is now searching for a cracking family this Easter.
They may not have found a new home yet, but Chloe and Dale the Greyhounds have certainly found love at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Old Windsor. The two abandoned dogs have become inseparable and now the charity is hoping to find them a home together where they can live happily ever after.
The canine couple arrived at Battersea separately under different circumstances. Six year old Dale arrived at Battersea Old Windsor after his racing career came to an end and was no longer wanted, while Chloe found herself at the charity as her owners could no longer care for her.

I've had my greyhound for 6 years now. He'll be 11 in September and is still as lively and affectionate as he was when I first took him home. He settled into life with me very quickly and we bonded almost immediately.
