Staff at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury are feeling festive and getting into the Christmas spirit this year by hosting the centre’s annual Christmas Fayre on Sunday 25th November. The festive fun starts at 11.00am at the Rehoming Centre on Roden Lane Farm and finishes at 3.00pm.

In September, Dogs Trust launched its “Keep Canines Cosy” campaign which urged people to knit doggy jumpers. These jumpers will be included in the Canine Christmas Hampers that the charity’s Hope Project distributes every year to dogs whose owners are homeless at Christmas.

Dogs Trust is delighted to announce that television presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have today become Patrons of the UK’s largest dog welfare charity. The pair rehomed black crossbreed Maggie from Dogs Trust Harefield in July last year after Eamonn met her whilst helping celebrate the rehoming centre’s fifth birthday.
