SCRUFFY THE BORDER TERRIER ???

I got this wonderful little dog (13 pounds) at a rescue facility two weeks ago. I wonder if he is a Border Terrier. He has a closely docked tail which is not characteristic but seems similar in other respects. What do you think???

DID DNA THROUGH MARS LABS ON SCRUFFY. HE IS A SCHNOODLE! THE DNA GOES BACK 3 GENERATIONS AND IT IS ALL POODLE/SCHNAUZER. I FOUND A BREEDER OF SCHOODLES AND THEIR TYPICAL PUPPY WITH APRICOT POODLES & GREY SCHNAUZERS LOOKS JUST LIKE SCRUFFY.
