this is bruno tedd, and mica. Bruno is the lil guy in the coat he is my 3 lbs yorkie. Teddy-Bear my 7 1/2 lbs blonde yorkie and Mica is my 12 lbs palm-a-poo.

Hi there. I'm a proud owner of a yorkshire terrier , and we are very happy with Douglas nickname (DOG) lol. we had him almost 2yrs ago. We got him a female companion and decided it would be a good idea to mate them. We were successful with it and they had 2 puppies. they are now 4 mo. old. this is when i realized that their tails had to be cut. Only to find out that you had to do it a couple of days after birth. is it still safe to have tail cut this late? thanks.
Please do not panic and do somethng in a rush. There is no need to have your Yorkie puppies docked. In the UK docking dogs' tails is banned, except for working dogs. In the US the AKC is in favour of docking for show dogs - but unless you want to show your youngsters this really isn't an issue for you.
If you've left it this late I would leave well enough alone and let your dogs have their tails to what a dog should do - wag!
