I think the American Cocker Spaniels are really ugly compared to the English Cocker SPaniels. Why America had to alter the breed is beyond me because all they have done is produce a flat face ugly creature. I have seen a few American cocker spaniels and they just look hideous.

I completely disagree, why because I owned one, if you own any dog no matter how pretty or ugly someone else claims it to be, it's beautiful to you.

If they were really ugly as you say they wouldn't have won 1st prize for breed of the year for 18 years there is something to say about that.
