Dogs name: Honey
Owners Name:
We got her from a shelter, she had been taken from a puppy farm that had been closed down by the RSPCA.
All the shelter could say was that she was pedigree, but not sure about exact breed.
Bumped into a toller owner walking with his two dogs, and he was convinced she was one.
Have since bumped into another that could be her twin at an agility demostration.
Done a bit of research on the net, and she seems to tick all the Toller boxes regarding behaviour (tolling!)
and temperament.

Hi, I'm not sure who will

Hi,

I'm not sure who will be reading this email, but we just wanted to let you know that we have Honey's "twin brother." We also rescued him ("Scout.") We are pretty sure though that he is NOT purebred. The toller eyes are usually different and the nose seems to usually be pink. Also, our boy fits none of the characteristics of a toller. He doesn't like water, he doesn't retrieve and he cowers at the sound of gunshots. Was he a failure at hunting and therefore abandoned........OR......is he mixed with beagle!!!!! Scout's eyes are dark and dark rimmed. Hard to tell if Honey's are exactly the same. Scout is the best dog ever except that he has his nose to the ground a lot!!!!! He LOVES to chase small game (squirrels, chipmunks ets) He does not hear us or respond to his "training collar" when he is after something. We would love to hear from anybody who has a dog just like Scout. We can also post a picture to prove he is Honey's twin if you are interested. We would love to hear more about Honey.
Thanks,
Karen
