AB 1634 is a bill in California that has been brought to my attention by Bichon Frise breeder, Matthew Culmore. (http://homepage.mac.com/mculmore/Bichons/) This legislation seeks to force owners to spay or neuter their dogs by the age of six months. While I can understand the dreadful suffering that motivates the bill, it seems there are many problems with such harsh measures.

Daisy May loves hiking in the Rocky Mountains of the USA with me (here she is all dirty and happy!) Although the Chow Chow part doesn't like swimming, she loves to go into the water up to her belly; we call her "from the 'wading class'." We laugh at her Chow Chow attitude. She is my "lifetime best dog!" She is also a rescue dog from the pound. She loves children and our cat. I also have a rescue Pigeon who hangs out together with Daisy in the front yard, to the amusement of cars and pedestrians going by.
This is Lucy. She is now 3 1/2 years old and just a little cuddle bug! That is her favorite thing to do for sure!
