In this show you can hear an interview with Lindsay Morris in which she tells the incredible story of her dog Sadie who had a very unfortunate - and unusual - encounter with a rattlesnake.
While on a camping weekend miles from anywhere, Sadie got bitten by a rattlesnake, and Lindsay and her husband Matt faced a difficult and agonisingly slow hike to get her to help. When they finally got her to a vet her treatment could begin - but there was no guarantee that a dog who had been through what poor Sadie had been through would even survive. Lindsay and Matt never gave up on the dog they love, and are now keem to raise awareness of the need to take care.

When host Julie got into discussion with Debbie Connolly and Nick Jones about whether dogs should sleep on beds, it developed into a lively and humourous debate.
Debbie is a dog and cat behaviourist who also treats goats, pigs and other pet livestock and has numerous published articles and media appreances including Dog Borstal and Britain's Most Embarrassing Pets.
Nick is a Master Trainer with The Guild of Dog Trainers and a full member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association, he has also given a number of interviews with the BBC on dog behaviour and dog training related matters as well as writing for Dogs Monthly, Field & Rural Life and Animal Health & Happiness magazines.
